SmartConnection was born in Liège in 2024 from a conviction: professional events should measure real meetings, not scanned badges.

The story

After organizing dozens of events for business clubs and federations, Maxime Stad observed the same friction everywhere: Excel + WhatsApp doesn't scale, but the big platforms are over-engineered for 30-1500 attendee formats.

The founder

Maxime Stad · Founder & CEO · Liège, Belgium. Former event organizer, computer-science trained. He personally takes every demo call in 2026.
