About · The founder

The commercial field and the code,
brought together in one product.

No co-founder, no fundraising, no agency. Maxime worked in logistics, taught himself to build, ran supply chains, then sold to large accounts. SmartConnection was born from that double culture: understanding the network, and knowing how to build it.

« As a salesperson, I watched too many pro events end in scanned badges and contacts that had vanished by Monday morning. So I coded the solution myself. »

Logistics
transport & flows

First, the field.

Maxime starts in logistics: four years as a transport and logistics technician, data- and flow-driven. Not slideware tech — real operations. That's where he develops a taste for systems that run and data that tells the truth.

Then he learns to build.

A year and a half of web-development training. And above all, he never stops: he has been coding for years. Not a last-minute career switch, a skill he keeps sharpening and deepening, alongside everything else.

He scales up.

Two years in supply chain: data, flows, execution at high volume. He refines what he already does best, understanding complex systems and making them legible.

Sales. And he lives the problem.

Then sales: large-account sales rep at a major French company. In daily contact with decision-makers, business networks and professional events, he lives the problem from the inside. Dense networking days, dozens of good conversations, and Monday morning, nothing. The gap was never the meetings, but the lack of a tool to make them last.

Two cultures, one product.

Understanding the network as a salesperson, knowing how to build it as a developer: that double culture is SmartConnection. Smart matchmaking, a points-based loyalty game, synced calendar, network graph, shareable recap card, three native languages. 110,000 lines of code, one pair of hands.

And he's the one who answers.

No call center, no middleman. When you book a demo, you face the person who built it all, and who has also sat on the other side of the sales table. He shows you the platform on your real event. No pressure.

« I didn't build SmartConnection to follow a trend. I built it because I sold it, lived it and understood it before writing it, one line at a time. »

I worked in logistics, I taught myself to develop, I ran supply chains, then I sold to large accounts. My network, I built it in event halls and client meetings, not on social media. And every time, the same frustration: an intense day, valuable people, then the Monday silence.

When I realised no tool really fixed that, I sat down and coded it. 110,000 lines later, the product does exactly what I designed it for: turning a day into relationships that last. And because I code it myself, your feedback in a demo can ship to production the following week. That's an edge big structures don't have.

What it changes for you

A reachable founder matters.

01

You talk to the founder, not yet another sales rep.

The demo, the support, the technical questions: it's him. The person who wrote the code, and who also sold to large accounts, answers your real questions, no filter, no script.

02

The product moves at your pace.

A relevant piece of feedback in a demo can ship to production the next week. No committee, no frozen roadmap: a developer who listens to his clients.

03

No fundraising, no pressure.

Built self-funded, with no investors to answer to. So a fair price that stays fair, and decisions driven by your needs, not by a growth curve.

The next step takes 30 minutes

Talk straight with the person who built it.

Maxime walks you through the platform by simulating one of your real events. Technical questions? He answers them himself. No pressure.
